Different countries and cultures have many varied methods
of preserving and processing food. Pickling was once an
extremely popular method of food preservation, although
with the advent of refrigeration, it lost some of its general
popularity and is now mainly used for vegetables and some
types of fish. You’ll usually see quite a large variety of
pickled products at farmers’ or organic markets.
With this kit, once you’ve made your pickles, if anyone
wants “extra pickles” on their take-out burger, you’ll be
able to help them out.
